“When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around.” WILLIE NELSON – Singer & Songwriter
What a wonderful day today is — Thanksgiving is a day to bring to mind all the things we have to be thankful for in our lives. But, I’ve found that it’s really best to be grateful every day. There are so many mentions of gratitude throughout history that I’m including a few of them that I want to share with you today.
In fact, I want to share a book I’m reading that I believe has helped me attract some amazing things into my life during the past two weeks. The title of the book is The Magic by Rhonda Byrne. The Magic is a 28 day program (that I intend to keep doing over and over) that maps out an easy-to-follow program of gratitude. The first day, and then very morning thereafter, you list 10 things you’re grateful for — it can be something as simple as “I’m grateful for my heart because it keeps me alive,” or “I’m grateful for trees because they clean the air I breathe.”
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” JOHN F. KENNEDY 35th President of the USA.
I hope you’ll have a Happy Thanksgiving, a day filled with friends, family, and good food. And I especially hope that you’ll be grateful every day for all the blessings you receive. I know I am, and thanks to The Magic, I’m enhancing that show of gratitude daily.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Julie
