How interesting, last night I received an email from a man who bought my book, Treat Yourself to Pain Free Living from a place called www.buy.com. He paid $32 so he figured he had saved money, but they said they were out of stock so he asked me to send him the book. I don’t sell my book through any other services, so he was ripped-off. I feel so bad but there isn’t anything I can do to help him. I went to the site and they look legitimate enough, I don’t understand it. They list the book as published by Ingram Pub Services, but I publish my own book so that’s a lie too.
Then I somehow ended up on Amazon.com (who we all know is legitimate) and they are selling it for $91.78 to $176.66! That’s amazing, I sell it for $45…maybe I should raise my price!?! I also don’t sell it through Amazon, so that’s a lie too.
I don’t know how to stop this, especially the buy.com situation. If you have any thoughts, please let me know.
